Please help me fight hunger and feed hope in Southwest Texas! Today on March 27th I received this from the San Antonio Food Bank: “Our shelves are emptying, and the number of people who need our help is increasing...as food resources become strained and the population needing help grows, the Food Bank’s warehouse inventory is quickly diminishing. It will cost more than $500,000 a day to keep the food flowing as local food donations vanish due to an overstressed food chain across the nation.” Monetary donations are the most effective tool--Every $1 you give provides 10 pounds of food/supplies to children and families facing hunger! That’s a lot of bang for your buck! Currently they are also providing drive by lunches and dinners! Let’s rally and help them help our community! **If you have extra food, I will have a food bin at the end of my driveway by Sunday and the top needs are: canned tuna, beans, peanut butter, cereal, rice, mac & cheese, canned soups, chili and stew, etc.
