Raindrop Foundation San Antonio

Ramadan is the holiest of the 12 months in the Islamic Lunar Calendar. Ramadan is a time of fasting, prayer, closeness to God, family, and community. Fasting starts to dawn and ends at sunset during which time Muslims refrain from eating, drinking (including water). The fast is broken at sunset with a dinner called "iftar" where family and friends gather. Traditionally we invite our neighbors and friends to share dinner for the duration of the month. Raindrop Foundation has been sharing iftar dinners with many other communities in San Antonio for the last several years and people participating in these programs have been very pleased.

One important aspect of Ramadan is charity and sharing. To practice this aspect, Raindrop Foundation is one more time organizing Food & Fund Drive for San Antonio Food Bank. Less fortunate people in our city will happy if you can contribute to this effort.

Please help us support San Antonio Food Bank by making a contribution to our fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar we raise will advance San Antonio Food Bank's great cause! Additionally, you can ask us how you can get involved too.Together, we can make a difference!
