Please help us to help those who suffer from food insecurity. The arrival of the coronavirus has brought a new season of need for many, and the Food Bank is ramping up additional service to meet that additional need. In the past week, there was a 100% increase in the outbound food support, and the need is expected to grow in April.
Monetary donations are the most effective tool for the Food Bank to access vital resources. Funds received go directly toward mobile distributions, children’s meals, and senior outreach. As food resources become strained and the population that needs help grows, the Food Bank’s warehouse inventory is quickly diminishing.
Our goal is to rapidly raise $75,000 by APRIL 30th. If we hit this goal we have secured a matching double donation!
$1,000 equals 10,000 pounds of food. We hope to enable the San Antonio Food Bank to acquire
1 MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD to serve our community.
Selfless service is our core value, and this crisis presents an opportunity to be proactive. Together we can make a difference! #TogetherWeCan
