As the need for food assistance continues to grow amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Spurs Give and The Tim Duncan Foundation announced today matching donations of $200,000 to the San Antonio Food Bank as part of the new Spurs Café initiative. With this donation, the Food Bank will deliver 25,000 meals to families living in low-income apartment complexes across San Antonio.

The meals will be delivered from six local restaurants, including Bistr09, Botika, Cherrity Bar, Guerilla Gourmet, Pharm Table, and Nonna Osteria and will serve over 25,000 local families over the course of five weeks. This new initiative will serve as a way to help families who otherwise could not afford transportation to the Food Bank to pick up orders themselves.
