The holidays are always a time to eat some good food and spend time with your families, but hunger doesn’t stop when the holidays end, nor does it start when donations are normally requested. October may be a month when free candy comes to mind for children around San Antonio, but for some families this time is a reminder that their children are hungry even after the candy is given out.

The San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) helps this effort by providing food for those less fortunate. SAFB served 100,000 individuals throughout 29 counties in around San Antonio every week. Donating can help the San Antonio food bank continue to serve those in our community struggling with hunger. Every $1 donated provides 7 meals to someone in need. Our goal is to provide 7,000 meals to those struggling with hunger in our community. Whether you are providing $1 or $100 every little bit helps. All the proceeds will remain here in San Antonio. Together we can help make a positive impact to the lives of our neighbors in San Antonio by fighting hunger and providing desperately needed normalcy to kids growing up.
