UPDATE APRIL 2024: We are doing it again this year, the last Tuesday of the school year. The Star Room will be cutting my hair (probably all of it) as we raise money and awareness for and of the San Antonio Food Bank! Thanks in advance if you are able to donate.
UPDATE MARCH 2023: Two months until the Star Room cuts my hair again! We are doing this to raise money for the San Antonio Food Bank, every dollar donated providing seven meals. If you are in a position to donate, thank you in advance. We are hoping to reach 7500 dollars this year.

MARCH 2022: Last year, after going 18 Covid months without a haircut, I let my Kindergarten class cut my hair, our efforts raising over $2000 and feeding over 1400 people. This year, on the first day of school, my new class, having seen my previous haircut, asked, "Mr. Jason, so when do we get to cut your hair?"....
SO WE ARE DOING IT AGAIN! Our goal this year- $5000! I have not cut my hair since June 1st, 2021, and will not cut my hair until the last week of school 2022, and will let my current class do the cutting!
Please, if you can, donate what you can and let's put food in peoples’ bellies!

Not only are we all graduating from Kindergarten, we also passed our Hair Cut certification.
The shortest my hair has been my entire life. I was born with more hair than this!

As a successful school year comes to an end, and I realize I have not had a haircut since 2019, I am going to end my school year by letting MY KINDERGARTEN CLASS CUT MY HAIR! Whatever they decide, I will sport for the last week of school- no touch ups. The class knows we are doing this to raise money for the SA Food Bank, SO PLEASE DONATE if you can. Thank you!!
